The Handless Maiden Series Continued

Updated: Dec 22, 2021

In this part of the fairy tale I decided to draw the handless maiden is wandering through forests and fields and comes across a lake where she decides to bathe. A deaf deer wanders into the pool of water with her. Her hands have been cut off and the deer is deaf yet both are thriving despite their disabilities.

Sometimes when you think you can't take anymore stress or pressure you're thrown an onslaught of pure duress. And all of a sudden I remember this quote I came across:

“What if it turns out better than you could have ever imagined?”

This is why the struggle is worthwhile.
